The Chayah motto is more needed in the world
we live in today than at any other time.
Research over the past few years has shown that not
only are we polluting the space around us but we are
also polluting ourselves. Many cosmetics contain chemicals
that when applied daily to our skin can cause damage
to our bodies. Why do we do it? Admittedly before the
era of computers it was hard to find out what all the
long sounding words in the ingredients listed on the
packaging meant and it was nearly impossible to know
what we were applying to our skin. However, these days
we have little excuse.
Our cosmetics do not contain
PARABENS, TRIETHANOLIAMINE, LANOLIN or any animal by-products.
We never have or will use animals for testing purposes.
Natural oils were used for thousands of years to beautify
the body and although in times gone by people did not
have to worry about chemical fertilisers or sprays to
kill insects, you could say they used Organic Oils.
And that is the basis of Chayah Cosmetics. Only Organic
Essential Oils are used in our products with the exception
of what is termed Wild specialty oils. The trees or
plants, which are not cultivated for mass production
and only grow in their natural wild state, do not yet
come under organic status but we do test them to ensure
they do not contain any damaging chemicals. Oils such
as Manketti Seed, which has wonderful regenerating and
restructuring properties, now used in our face &
neck creams. Along with Marula Seed Oil, which improves
skin hydration and increases skin smoothness, with rosehip
and apricot oils will give you a wonderful sensation
when applied to your skin. Remember, whatever cosmetic
you use, read the ingredients list and any instructions.
Use real natural oils, and to do your bit for the environment,
make them organic.

many cosmetics have directions of caution. |
